Thanks! Re: multicrop groundbreaker 2Mar 08, 2013 7:28 pm Yeah you could use it. It's not the only thing like it either. Powerfeed and other humate rich products will break any clay types faster than traditional methods. Humic and other organic acids are very efficient at that. Adding sand, zeolite, perlite will also help and is a very fast fix when dug into the structure. Gypsum is not going to be effective on all clay soils but is constantly recommended by people that should know better. Also takes years to have any effect. Making your own cow poo tea is also another way of doing large areas on a budget. Re: multicrop groundbreaker 6Mar 21, 2013 1:07 am For clay breaker products, make sure you are choosing the right one as well. Gypsum based "clay breakers" only work on some clays, not all. Read this and see if you will be wasting your money or not. http://www.abc.net.au/gardening/stories/s1676965.htm Re: multicrop groundbreaker 8Apr 03, 2013 6:29 pm Smile. Don't get sucked in to thinking you need a special fertiliser for different plants. |
