Hi All,
I have just had my turf laid (well laid last week) and watering it religiously at the moment, unless we have a decent amount of rain and soil is still wet to a cm or two. Have been fortunate with some mild weather here the last few days.
My question is, I want to put a garden bed where I have some of this new turf, and replace some of the turf that is looking a little worse for wear at the moment.
Is it a simple matter to cut up the good turf and move it to the struggling turf, and follow the same regimen, ie plenty of water for the first few weeks? The struggling turf I think is just where it was in the roll, not so much that it is bad location, etc, as some other strips around it are doing great.
I am thinking it is, but just want to be educated on any potential pitfalls there may or may not be. Is it too soon to move newly laid turf (don't want to stress it more than it already is)?
Thanks a lot for any advice in advance.
Cheers
