How much watering depends on the temperature, hot = more cool = less. Stick your finger in to judge. How long depends on your irrigation set up. Just follow that simple rule and forget times etc. Once you cant lift the turf up and it has rooted down water once a day for a week then every couple of days working up to once a week. Water so the top few inches of soil are moist, to check stick a screw driver in. Once you figure out how long it takes to wet the soil you can irrigate accordingly. Over watering will wash away vital nutrients and under watering will , yeah you know. Once it is established to workout how much water it needs, ween it off the water and when it stresses and goes a bit rubbish, add a few minutes. Then ween it off again.
