Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 05, 2011 10:50 pm We recently had our lawn mowed for the first time since laying 8 weeks ago. It has been a week after mowing and we noticed there's lots of weeds growing on the lawn. The weeds are thin and long with fluffy stuff at the end. These weeds weren't there prior to the mowing and the lawn was beautiful before. We followed Fu's soil preparation, so not sure what caused this. Can anyone suggest how to get rid of them? Prolly just the EZ flower/seed heads though. Doesn't look like a problem to me. Normal for them to appear after laying on EZ and most other turfs. the leaves that are now underground go yellow, the tips that poke through photosynthesise and have chlorophyll, same reason they grow rhubarb in the dark. 5 4855 We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37139 |
