Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Its a bit hard to take a pic of the entire wall as there is a clothes line in the road. I still need to give the wall a scrub down etc to prep for painting. I wasn't too concerned about a perfect job as most of the wall is going to be behind a garden shed and a rainwater tank to water my veggie patch. Re: My Landscaping Journey (Back yard levelling 4/5/2013) 242May 04, 2013 7:12 pm Started digging again today. Levelling the back yard.

BTW, we had excatly the same thing for the temp clothesline! only ours was of colourbond ... What are you leveling it for? what will go there? and what's that enclosure?? for chooks?? Re: My Landscaping Journey (new pics 4/5/2013) backyard 244May 20, 2013 12:01 pm Hi Lex, After the build, the yard had a large hump in the middle of it which, when it rains, directs water toward the rear wall. I'm leveling it out to correct this issue so that water runs away from the wall. The enclosure is my possum proof veggie patch. It's a bit of fun for the kids. The next steps are to prep and paint the wall then build my garden shed in front of it, then turf the remaining open space and replace the Rotary Clothes Line. - job done! After that I'll tackle the lower section of the rear yard and prep it for paving. Re: My Landscaping Journey (new pics 4/5/2013) backyard 246Jun 11, 2013 11:02 am A quick update - After a bout of the flu for a few days and a long weekend I have managed to complete leveling the top deck of the back yard. I have also completed the prep of the brick wall ready for paint. Just need a few days of dry weather (yeah right!) and I can paint the wall and then move onto building the floor for my garden shed. Veggie patch is going great guns - will post some pics soon. Re: My Landscaping Journey - Backyard 248Jul 08, 2013 2:15 pm Lex Well, apparently tomorrow is the last dry/sunny day for the next 7 days ... hope you manage to get some progress. Hi Lex, you were spot on with your weather forecast. I finally got to painting my wall on the weekend. Slow and frustrating progress but now I can move forward and build my garden shed. Re: My Landscaping Journey - Some more progress 28/7 249Jul 28, 2013 4:50 pm The beginning of my shed floor. Planning on using 3 m lengths of H4 90x45 and marine ply for the floor.

Although, am a bit confused as to the floor of the shed ... I was imagining it being solid pavers/concrete (as I have almost no imagination hahha). Anyway, today I managed to get outside myself and fertilise our orange tree again, yaaaay, finally! BTW, nice green truck to transport all that soil My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Re: My Landscaping Journey - Backyard - new pics 28/7 251Jul 28, 2013 6:33 pm I'm using the paver as piers. I had thought about a full paver floor but decided on this method.
