Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Feb 18, 2011 10:00 am Hi First time sharing pics on here so here goes... http://www.flickr.com/photos/59637867@N07/ We have drainage issues at the front of our house. We thought we'd done the right thing by installing several large, square grate drains, linked by PVC pipe that slopes down towards the verandah downpipe/stormwater. But the water seems to fill the drains and either cause flooding in a downpour (to the point where we need to sandbag in a big rain) or stagnant water after a few days of rain. Are there any other alternatives that can get the water away from the house quickly. Bigger drains? There is a large catchment area around us as houses are still being built. And quite a bit of erosion and silt coming from next door. Any advice would be much appreciated! Need more photos from around the house including your gutters. We have had 3 of the wettest years in a row for some time so that wouldn't be helping 3 6940 Hi there everyone i was hoping to get some details and some clarification on some potential defects that may have occurred our recent bathroom renovation. 1.
