Hi
I have planted some rockmelons that have been going really well.
But over the weekend we had some rain and high humidity and there was an outbreak of powdery mildew on a section of one plant (unfortunately near an almost ripe rockmelon).
So far I have applied seasol to the soil and sprayed the leaf with seasol in an attempt to strengthen the plant. I have also sprayed with a bicarb solution and removed the worst infected leaves.
Are there any other suggestions?
I don't want the fungus to spread to the whole crop.
