I have an awkward patch of lawn on the south side of my house which looks great in summer as it recieves part shade but in winter it is close to full shade and becomes a weed patch. I am thinking of replacing the lawn with a dense planting of G. Gingin gem. I am hoping with good soil prep this will handle the shade. The lawn is not used for anything except to look at. Any comments or experiences appereciated. Also if someone has a better alternative I am all ears.
cheers
