.... ahem
So, continuing from what I was saying in another thread before my brain woke up...
We've got a Red Roo CMS 80 being delivered at the weekend for chipping/mulching all our garden stuff and I saw on Youtube a woman using it to mulch horse poo to make her own potting mix. Obviously, this was about the mulcher not the potting mix, so I was wondering what else you would need to add to make your own.
Is it literally just horse poo dried? Or do you need to mix in some organic compost and if so how much should the ratio be?
Would this potting compost be good for sewing vegetable and herb seeds in?
I might mulch some poo anyway as it would be easier to add to the vegetable beds than having to dig in big clods of it in (the soil there is compacted, so lots of breaking up clay and digging involved).
Any replies would be appreciated
