Now I'm not certain it is available for domestic use but the it would solve nearly every persons problems when it comes to kids, cars, dogs, dogs digging, high traffic and wear over turfed areas. In particular for high traffic areas after laying the turf before it's established. It won't hamper mowing and will encourage longer cutting which further enhances the water efficiency of the turf. It also means that you can use the turf you want for dog owners http://www.geofabrics.com.au/detailprod ... =143&id=66 Re: Lawn protection in high traffic applications. 2Jan 23, 2011 4:54 pm Oh wow that looks like a great product! We're still scarred from buying our first home where the owners slapped down some turf on top of the sandy soil, no retic, and a week later our dog was pulling up the turf in big squares and tossing it up into the air I keep telling hubby it will be different this time, we'll make sure the soil is good and we'll reticulate it, and we'll book the dog into daycare if we have to! ~*~Moved in on the 16th April 2011~*~ Re: Lawn protection in high traffic applications. 3Jan 23, 2011 8:55 pm Yeah they use similar products in around the large sports grounds in melb in the car parking spots. Works well, especially in the slops over winter. A mate bought it for his nature strip where he parks his car on occasion. There are also tiles you can buy also. Lawn protection in high traffic applications. 4Jan 23, 2011 9:59 pm Yeah seen the tiles used. They use them on golf courses sometimes. Before you rip it up, if you can in the grout lines, drill some holes and pour/inject techgrip by sika. I have used it to bond mdf to timber, but in the process it dripped… 1 4299 Yes, neither is termite damage that is not covered by your house insurance. 3 6592 |
