I found some more when I googled the proper name- 'little john' azalea. If you prefer foliage to flowers (I do too ) it's perfect as it rarely blooms. The lady we had create a landscape plan for us works there, and she recommended them for both mine and my mum's garden! But I must say, the 'little john' azalea which Felistopher is more my type. I love that its quite subtle but still has that nice red foliage. Do you know how high they would grow? Thanks. Good question... Not sure! Mum's have only been in her garden for a year and are only around 50cm high x 40cm spread. I am guessing they are just like other azaleas, in that they can be pruned/shaped/kept tidy/small and respond to this quite well. Maybe Fu can help??
