Re: What should I plant with my Grass Tree? 4Jan 18, 2011 11:50 am I planted a series of myoporum parvifolium - Creeping Boobialla around the base of my grass tree. more so at the edges where the leaves fall. i was going to plant some 'little con' or 'little jess' - dwarf lomandra and dwarf dianella, but kept it to the lower ground cover of the myoporum. two reasons 1. as said before, small plant away from the root zone of the grass tree, 2. extra cover of the soil for weeds and heat (in addition to the mulch).
