I did a full site survey (existing house & yard), scale CAD drawing of existing, and scale concept plan overlayed on A2 sheet. Including planting plan and soil improvement regime recommendations including soil ammendments and application rates. About 60hrs work. Charged $2500. I will be charging extra for detailed drafting of the various structures as well. Re: Landscape concept costs 6Dec 10, 2010 4:13 pm Just had a Landscape designer quote us $4400 for a ocncept plan! To go through to plant selection etc was up to $8900 I am sure they would do a good job and these people have won a lot of awards but I just see that as over the top. We are not talking a huge area either only about 100 m2 Not easy to figure who to go with on this one.
