Hi folks
Sometime next grass-planting season, we want to lay some instant turf.
Currently, the back yard (and front yard) has Brunnings lawn seed that the previous owners planted to give the place a quick facelift but it is actually mostly weed with some lawn mixed in .
So, we want to make sure we eradicate the nasty weeds before we lay new turf and have the weeds grow through again.
So, does anyone have any good step by step advice on how to thoroughly treat Oxalis now in order to totally eradicate it preparation for some turf next year (or maybe later this season - ie Mar/April). If we just dig up all the current lawn and weed, the seeds will remain in the soil so I need to somehow actually be rid of them. Also, ways of not letting it spread any more than it already has.
It is mostly Oxalis (and quite a bit of it) and some other stuff I am not sure what it is but let's start with the Oxalis and the same treatment will probably fix the other weeds too.
Thanks, Ceebs
