Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 15, 2010 12:28 pm Hi everyone. Looking for some ideas for planting under my Little Gems. Needs to have similar water requirement as the little gems also. So no plants that prefer drought please. After a strappy plant. Was thinking Dionellas as they are small and strappy but worried about their reproduction en masse. So any other ideas of strappy plant, growing say no more than 50cm (500mm, 1/2 metre). I have previously purchased some "dwarf" versions of flax. No good . They grew much bigger than advised and didnt like to have moist soil. Prefer to dry out more which the magnolias dont. Cant wait to hear. Thanks.
