Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 08, 2010 3:51 pm Hi everyone, Have just been informed that handover is THIS Thursday and I am very excited about that - well excited about having the keys to my first house in my hands. The journey so far has been exceptional (and lucky) to say the least. Have not had some of the huge drama's that other people have been experiencing (touch wood). So, some of the things that I need to start looking into are include: - Concreting (driveway, around the house, etc) - Fencing - General landscaping As such, interested in any pointers people might have in getting the above organised, and any recommended contacts would also be greatly appreciated. Interested to see who else is settling in Point Cook Waterhaven! Cheers, David Re: Point Cook - Handover Soon - Landscape time! 2Nov 08, 2010 7:19 pm How very exciting!!! In regards to the landscaping read the Turf Laying thread stickied at the top on how to prepare soils - it's not just right for soil but all garden beds and pretty much anything that Fu writes 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' What has been your experience so far? We went around the site earlier in the day and noticed that there aren't any parks available at the moment however there is a park planned eventually opposite the stage 3 development. Also what is your experience in terms of the noise from the freeway-- the estate is fairly close the the freeway. Thank you so much for your advice.
