Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 05, 2010 12:47 pm Here is a quote we just got back from the landscaper to do around the pool area, is this pricing around the market price at the momemt? I have put in photos to show the area that is being done. $1736+GST 1. Construct Rock Garden bed above pool area as discussed using Helidon boulders, quality garden soil, 1” hoop bark mulch and tumbled Helidon River rock. Garden to run between paved path above and pool fence below allowing 900mm of flat pebble covered ground directly outside fence. Also included in this price I’ll extend the river pebble along the length of the pool fence above the pool, lay it on black plastic for weed control and place paver steppers on concrete in the stone. $1012 +GST 2. Areas to be paved directly above and to the left of the pool to be built up using 6m3 of road base mixed with 18 bags of cement and compacted in 50mm layers until desired height is reached. This mix is then watered in and allowed to set thus giving a solid base for the pavers. A suitable boulder to be placed at either end of the base for retaining / decorative purposes. $1772 + GST 3. Lay 26 m2 of pavers on a concrete base. Pavers not supplied in this price as they are yet to be selected.
