Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Oct 29, 2010 11:35 pm We're just finishing off a large extension to our home and are expecting the concreter to come back next week to pour our perimeter paths. We have our garden tap on the rear wall of the house then there will be the 1m concrete path and then we want approx 70m2 of turf with a garden bed and planting along the fenceline. We can't afford to put in anything too special in the way of an irrigation system just yet but should we be considering at least putting some sort of conduit or pipe under the path before it is concreted so we have the option of adding a watering system at a later date? We're in Adelaide and have recently had our watering restrictions relaxed in anticipation of the new desal plant being finished. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tape the ends to keep the pipe clear of debris and bury till you are ready to dig up and slot the pipes through it Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain.
