Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Oct 17, 2010 3:02 pm This probably seems like a stupid question but we have recently had a retaining wall put in made of moss rocks and they have left quite significant holes between them or even small gaps, now our problem is we have recently found brown snakes visiting and we have tried to fill the holes with dirt but some of the rocks angle down and we cant keep dirt in, we would really like to fill them for obvious reasons but have run out of ideas. We also are not keen on planting as we thought this might hide any snakes that are around. It will be time consuming but worth while. You can use a damp sponge to smooth things out and clean up a bit I guess you could even sacrifice a household brush and pan brush as well and tidy your work up with that too.
