Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Oct 14, 2010 8:25 am Hi All, Just finished my raised garden bed. I will post photos shortly. I am keen on keeping out slugs and snails from my veggies, like all of you would be. I dont not like to kill anything so snail bait is simply not an option. I have been reading up on companion planting (rosemary and garlic are good options) to keep away the critters, but I also read about a copper barrier around my veggie garden. This would be easy to complete as i could just nail it to the sleepers. Has anyone tried this and is it effective. Cheers. I know a prominent WA Hort that uses the liquid sprays containing copper and it has worked well for him. You should get a win.
