I've only noticed this shrub recently, and the variety was (supposedly) the Viburnum Odoratissimum (writtten on the pot). Looked like a vigorous grower, but wasn't 100% happy with how some leaves had reddish/yellowish/golden tops or were almost fully coloured (but maybe that's normal since it was winter when I saw it???). (although the colours looked absolutely stunning, I wouldn't like this "discolouration" all year around)
Then I noticed a plant (in the neighbourhood) that looked exactly the same (and super vigorous), but all the leaves were a beautiful soft green (the shrub was about 2m high).
Is it possible that this is the same variety of Viburnum, but they look different in different seasons?? There isn't much good info out there on this particular issue.
Also, which Viburnum is the most vigorous and has the softest and soft green leaves (and not discoloured or dark)? Do they all flower? Is there some variety like the Viburnum Odoratissimum but with no flowers?
Hope Fu sees this
