The other roses that had very minimal or no aphids have the bodies of mummified aphids (the wasp had hatched out) and other good bugs patrolling the plants. We planted some "good bug mix" last year and so far it seems to be doing wonders attracting them Noticed the caterpillars in the veggie patch are now being attacked by the Cotesia wasp. If you don't have any good bugs on patrol then hose them off as Fu Manchu said.
