Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Oct 07, 2010 9:59 pm Am posting this for a friend of mine, she asked about this on another small forum I am on and no-one knew the answer. I think she lives in NSW. She has a yard full of this weed and doesnt know what it is. She said it smells like grass and it 'twines' on itself. No flowers and very rampant. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it? You know the drill... Only spray with good weather about for a few days. No rain. Don't spray if it is windy. Spray in the morning. Add Seasol to the weedspray mixture. add a few drops of dishwashing liquid (Literally only a few) Oh and only mix the ratio suggested, adding a bit more can render the spray ineffective. Re: Question about a weed 3Oct 08, 2010 10:02 am sorry to hijack this thread, fu i always wondered about that. If you mix spray, either weedkiller, or seasol or the likes, does it have to be made exactly to the directions on the bottle, or can it be made stronger? Re: Question about a weed 4Oct 08, 2010 3:55 pm Always as directed. It isn't about making things better, it just wastes your money. It many weedkillers, it can render the treatment ineffective. Get the ratio right and you get a result ... as well as the other things on how to spray and when as I always mention.
