Above retaining wall is on slightly sloping land
indicating a new step up level of blocks
would be required about every 8th block.
The height is up to 500 ML.
It is on our land against neighbour fence.
Neighbour has built up soil on neighbours side of fence to 500ML.

After 8th block laid it seemed strange that a step up was not needed
i.e. blocks on first level were still on the first level.
That seemed to indicate
the blocks were running too much with the level of the land.
Builder seemed very uninterested in the job today.
1st block 35.25" below string
Builder asked how is that after 10th block was laid.
10th block 34.25" below string.
Builder said the string is not accurate any more.
String was tightened and checked to be level.
Builder said 1% error rate is ok.
Jo said don't ask Jo any more on how the levels are.
Builder resigned after adjusting blocks to 1st block 35.5" below line,
10th block 35" below line.
What is acceptable?
I thought level meant level with nil error rate.
