Re: GoGo juice 2Sep 16, 2010 11:36 pm Hell yeah. Nutrog do some amazing products. I don't often mention it but maybe I should more, is their Seamungus for lawns and their pellets. They crap on the DPM pelletised products for results! It is a bit of a competitor for Powerfeed I guess. Fits in with my ethos of feeding the soil. Ignore your plants. Focus on the living biology of your soil Re: GoGo juice 3May 29, 2011 1:41 pm Hey guys, I just discovered gogo juice as well at bunnings and bought a bottle, but just curious, considering gogo juice contains live bacteria, and they say it should be diluted with water prior to use. Won't chlorinated water kill all the bacteria? I'm connected to sydney waters recycled water (which is chlorinated) - no rain water tanks so just don't want to kill the bacteria off when trying to mass apply to my garden beds using a seasol/powerfeed spray bottle. Anyone know if gogo juice has any sort of dechlorinator built into it to prevent killing of the bacteria? Nav Re: GoGo juice 4May 29, 2011 10:33 pm have to ask neutrog TBH I use it in the garden undiluted and then hose it in but the chorline should not be a factor in killing all the bugs IMO as it is in such small amounts I went outside once. The graphics were alright, but the gameplay sucked! Settlement:22nd June Slab:27th August Frame:16th Sept Bricked:21st Oct Roof:24th Nov Linings HANDOVER23rd March! Re: GoGo juice 5May 30, 2011 7:05 pm Thanks Mecha, I'll give neutrog a shot, I know chlorinated city water/recycled water can kill fish, so i'm sure it can destroy bacteria as well. Thanks for the idea though of using it undiluted, i might do that instead. Re: GoGo juice 7Jun 02, 2011 3:56 pm I've sent a few emails to Neutrog, no response yet... I've resorted to using water from my fish tank (unchlorinated) into a 9L watering pot, and using that to water the plants. Hopefully Neutrog eventually responds.... the bottle was from memory $14.99 from Bunnings for a 1L pack. Re: GoGo juice 9Jun 03, 2011 11:38 am I received a response from Neutrog basically saying they use 'town water' to brew their bacteria so they can't see any issue with us using it to dilute it, but to me that still does not answer my question properly. I'm suspecting they dechlorinate the water by boiling/filtering the water, but i'll wait to hear back from them again to be sure. Re: GoGo juice 10Jun 03, 2011 2:41 pm Official response from Neutrog: Does the chlorine etc in town water effect the microbes? There is not much doubt that at high levels (as in what is in a swimming pool) chlorine will impact upon bug numbers and types but drinking water/town water is not likely to have much of a negative impact—we are growing them in Kanmantoo town water. Re: GoGo juice 11Jun 05, 2011 11:23 pm None, there's so much chlorine in Perth water these days you can smell it coming out of the tap. The Calcium does more harm. |
