Our neighbour-to-be has had a landscaping company plant conifers around the perimiter of their 1-acre property. .. I'm more than a little concerned that they're going to grow to 2 million feet tall and completely block our morning sun (as his property is east-southeast of ours). We're planting trees and bushes of our own, and I'd hate for them to not grow because of lack of sun, and lack of nutrients in the soil, having been stolen by the conifers. ..
Here's my pathetic excuse for a representative piccie:

The green blobs are the conifers (not drawn to scale, and the quantity is undoubtedly wrong too).
I don't really know what to ask, maybe someone can give me reassurance that this 50 metre wall of conifers isn't going to block out all of the eastern morning sun? That would be best. .. otherwise, maybe there's a law against having a wall of conifers like this. We're in a bushfire 1 zone, is it illegal to plant this many of them in bushfire zones?
Maybe I should have just not acted like a gutless turd, and talked to them about the plants before they put them in, but hindsight isn't going to help me now. HELP!
