Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Aug 25, 2010 2:49 pm Ok, so we plan to put the house on the market hopefully by the end of the year (tho, reading some of the timelines of fellow switch builders it may be longer) depending how the build progresses. We need to make the front yard look better. I've just recently pulled an old water feature out of a square garden bed at the front door, around 2x2m, gets full afternoon sun so need something that will flowering and pretty through summer. I have NO idea what to put there, i've had some organic soil delivered ( tho need more) and have dug that through so that the soil that hasn't grown anything in about 8 years has some nutrients there. I haven't got a pic of the front of the house on this computer but we have a grey rendered house and the bed is in front of the lounge room window, so don't want plants to block out the light completly. Suggestions please my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: What to plant now, to sell at years end 3Aug 26, 2010 12:44 am Sorry thought it was in profile, I'm in Perth my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: What to plant now, to sell at years end 4Aug 26, 2010 12:55 am Oh well, then that's great then Get some bentonite clay in there as well. Also Fairy Magnolia " Blush" will be looking good Kangaroo paws like the local Manglesii and ones like Yellow Gem and Big Red.
