Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jul 31, 2010 9:24 am I'm attempting to remove an old shrub from out the front of my house. I don't know what kind it is, 'coz I'm a terrible gardener I've cut back all the branches on it, but when I tried to dig it out of the ground this morning, I discovered that the wonderful previous owners have surrounded it with black plastic weedmat and pebbles, so I can't (easily) dig it out. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can make it easier to remove it? If I poison it, will that help?
