Hi all,
Yesterday my DH went to Laverton market and bought two Bowen Mango plants. I heard that they are very hard to maintain in Melbourne and we are in Point cook. We have a raised garden bed, which we built with Red gum sleepers supported by C and H channels, 400mm high on the south wall. The bed gets lots of North and East sunlight. My husband wants to plant these in those beds. Please let me know is this the correct spot or should I plant them in the front yard, which is North facing? How far should they be planted from the house slab and can I plant these in the beds which are on easement? or should I just plant them in a wine barrel ? I am really worried about their size and maintenance.
Thanks for answering all my questions.
