Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jul 09, 2010 1:35 pm I'm starting to look at lights in the garden and wanted to get thoughts from everyone about which is better from a maintenance point of view. Looks like the options are brass body, solid copper or stainless steel. What are the pros and cons of these ... what's everyone else doing and why? I really like the idea of copper (simply because the colour would tie in well with the browns and greens outside) but am not sure how practical this is. Any comments? Aged copper looks fantastic in a garden environment, but you must bear in mind that copper is an expensive metal and attractive to thieves. Yes, garden lighting does get stolen. Best of luck with your choice.
