LETTERBOXES!! SHOW US WHAT YOU'VE GOT?

Hmm, now i suppose a lot of people forget about this little detail until handover, but we are trying to buy a letterbox that will suit a contemporary home, but possibly made of concrete/sandstone/stainless steel.

I have checked out:

I would like to put the question out to the masses as to what letter box you have selected or you would like for your place?

Pictures would be great as well as pricing and info on where you bought it/or if you made it and your costs involved?

you must have been reading my mind.

I spent last night on the net looking for letter boxes and couldn't find much that took my fancy. There were a couple that reminded me of my parents letterbox that was built in the 60's - flip lid metal box that held letters and spiders :shock:

Stackstone sounds nice, but it needs to compliment the house, which will not have any stackstone on it. Unless i am not happy with the render. (which we considered at one stage).

It then needs to be pretty rectangular i suppose if we use stackstone???

Hmmmm what other ideas do you have???

On another topic, i want to know why someone doesn't come up with exposed aggregate pavers? Then we can use them for driveways....

My mind doesn't stop... This forum has got me going nuts with thoughts and ideas....
