Remember "The General"

Well we gave him a trendy new look today, DH built the frame and bought some plates and made fountains out of them and we gave TG a gorgeous new backdrop choosing two colours from the pool tiles.

oh and a special pic of you know who

Very nice suh
Excellent work Suh! It really ties the General in with the rest of your outdoor space now.
Another handy H1 DH
Looks terrific suh - very effective !
Who's the artistic director - you or DH ?
Oh very nice Sue!!!
I'm sure TG is very happy with his reno.
Thank you one and all
well DH made up this frame one day...must have been bored cause I won't let him hang anything else inside
and bought the plates WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE
what goes on in that man's mind is anyone's guess
then we took the pool tiles to Bunnies today and I...yes I....picked the colours to match
and they are perfect
I love it, now he wants to put blue inside
BUT guess who is getting a noice turquoiseish/bluish splashback to replace a certain RED one
*sigh* it only took a year
Sorry Sue, I was on the phone when I made my last comment!

Unreal, love it….it so refreshing to see some modern outdoor designs.

What’s going in the pots beside the general?
Those pots would be part of the water feature wouldn't they?
Woohoo go the blue splashie!!

And The General looks very swish....

OK, you get the idea ... this place is unbelivable !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean

the water flows from the plates to the pots, you know that

suh, can't you just have a suh's photos thread? Pleeeeese?

let me think about it Dee
Yeah, I was thinking the same! I was going to search for your build thread / ask you for the link ... did you have one? From a few glimpses of your house that I've seen so far (kitchen, study fit-out and now the pool, I think bathroom too), I think this house might be right at the top of my fav "cool, sleek, modern" list!
Was it architect designed? Or project? Do tell pleeeeease
Lex

You're spot on Lex !!!! Suh's house is amazing
..........a home that would fit perfectly in House & Garden. Every room has the 'drool' factor
