I started a bit of a photo album as hubby landscaped our garden. I am amazed and what he has achieved and think it looks wonderful so just wanted to share for anyone who is interested.

He has done a great job. I reckon up there with the professionals. You both must be pleased. As for your attempt at artwork. Well congratulations it looks great. I'd be quite happy to pay for that to hang on a wall. Give yourself more credit. Now all you need to do is do some more. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. How good does it feel Pretty bloody satisfying I bet Re: Just wanted to share our new garden pics from start 2 fi 5May 06, 2010 11:28 am awwww thanks guys. I think he just wants to pass out for about a week It was all done start to finish in about 5 weeks he did take 2 weeks off work. As for my artwork that is very kind of you to say. I have not a creative bone in my body but the artwork I ordered and paid for on Ebay did not show up in time so I had to do something. DH thinks I should try selling mine on Ebay but I dont think I have the confidence that people would be happy with them. The photos taken for the sale of the house should be arriving in my email box soon if there are any worth posting I will add them. We are quite sad we wont even get to enjoy the garden in summer. I really love it. Thanks again Re: Just wanted to share our new garden pics from start 2 fi 6May 07, 2010 7:23 am Your husband must have worked like a machine!! Fantastic job, Penny - I'm sure it will raise your sale price and attract a lot more buyers. Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Just wanted to share our new garden pics from start 2 fi 11May 07, 2010 9:05 pm penny, Ur backyard looks like those in Backyard Blize from TV ! How come ur husband can finish all these tasks in 5 wks , with only 2 full day weeks ? The angled timber board is designed very clever as a privacy screen! The stone garden edge looks wonderful, can u ask ur husband if cement/ concrete is needed to stick the layers of rock? THose walking along hte boulevard must think they walked passed a display hse garden, and wondering which builder is that I think ur husband must be v busy then, loads of orders from ur relatives and best friends Re: Just wanted to share our new garden pics from start 2 fi 13May 08, 2010 6:41 pm Thanks again There was a concrete slab down before the pavers went down but they were concreted into place. The wall is a dry stone wall so no concrete just pieced together I am not sure how it works tbh. I think he did concrete the top stones into place but the kids are always running across the top and no accidents yet! I hope everyone that comes through is impressed by the garden. First open next weekend! Re: Just wanted to share our new garden pics from start 2 fi 16May 10, 2010 1:48 am I like some of the ideas, but not so great for kids ? Do the hard jobs first. The easy jobs will take care of themselves. - Dale Carnegie Re: Just wanted to share our new garden pics from start 2 fi 17May 10, 2010 10:02 am We have actually found the kids use the garden more. They ride their bikes along the path ways and love jumping across the stones and along the wall. IF we were staying we would put a small springfree tramp on the area with the tuscan pebbles. traditional gable roof facade - Have you did the dark and light gray color combination in facade with gray stone in facade… 0 4211 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9565 4 14463 |
