Ok so now its 4.666 votes male to 3 female to 1 sheep!

Shouldn't that be 4.66 male to 3.333 female? and can I add a 0.1 to sheep? Anyone here seen the latest Lamb ad?

To save water I drink less and pee on the citrus tree roots.

Do you mean the "film" preview lamb add? With the "SHANKS!" at the end!! It's an absolute p1sser!! :lol:

It’s a fantastic spot…..that’s why I’m still here after 20 years!

I hand feed the possums, we have a roo in the yard every night….not so good, he eats everything! I’ve had the biggest Goanna I have ever seen come trotting through and up the gum tree, where he sat for a while checking us all out…..

I love it here!

I love it here!

We lived in the Central Coast, not too far from where you are (Just outside of Gosford). We had a brush turkey that worked relentlessly on it's nest from first light. Never seemed happy with the size of it's nest despite the huge size.

One day, the circades emerged in number - tens of thousands of them, huge insects (the size of a chiplolata), black with bright red eyes. They covered everything and made an unbelieveable racket. With all the doors and windows closed, we could barely hear each other speak. The turkey and several other birds got very fat over those few weeks. Oh and if you approached them, they sprayed you with something foul.

Oh and the Kookaburra that seemed to have a thing for the mother-in-law (he can have her:) )

It was very pleasant except for the commute.

LOL - totally unrelated to gardening...

When the lamb ads first came on (1-2 years ago)- it was the "perfume" one - and I seriously thought it was a fragrance by lancome, and one day I asked my fashion-conscious late-teens niece if she'd tried it and she almost wet herself laughing... I really thought it was a clever marketing ploy to get people to find out what it smelt like - the perfume that is.
Needless to say I've been getting a ribbing (no pun intended) with the latest ad - but I picked it straight away! No fooling me this time.
Very clever people indeed.

Mind you my face is always in CI on Austar, so TV doesn’t get too big a look in.
But I must keep an out now!!!

Getting things back on topic regarding water restrictions...

Would there be much interest in a specially designed Garden Watering Hose Pump which sits in any large vessel (a wheelie bin is perfect) and generates enough pressure you can attach a hose to it like this so you can water the garden with the water with water from any water collection reservoir.

It's been invented by an Australian designer, and is manufactured from components used which are for other primary tasks, but when they're all combined in this way they make a very easy to use piece of equipment.

I think it is a great idea and will be buying one, as we empty the little fellas bath water everynight into a wheelie bin. Only a couple of buckets, each night, but if it goes in the right places, no one should care. Our local council, City of Casey, will supply an additional recycling bin free of charge if you call them and ask for it... So we did and now transfer bath water into it and then transfer to the garden.....
And before Matt says anything

we make sure every night we don't throw the baby out with the bath water, and no we don't bath him in the wheelie bin.... :lol:
