I should also mention that my friend's uncle was particularly fond of "watering the concrete" as well. Unfortunately since he too lives in Sydney, the neighbours dobbed him in and he copped a fine !

I totally agree on the fine…..after all, it’s US from the South Coast who supplies THEIR water, under very heavy water restrictions to do so!
So he should cop a fine!
I don’t water my hard surfaces when we are on water restrictions.
But we are free to do as we like when we aren’t on restrictions.
