Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 25, 2010 3:50 pm Hi everyone We have just finished building with the big M as we're on acreage the cheapest option for fencing is the copper log with chain mesh - I actually love the look of these fences, we're getting the 125mm diameter logs 1.8m high and 2.4m apart, however at the driveway we are wanting to put an electric gate on, do you think that would look ok attached to copper logs or should we have some sort of other post either side of the gate??? Like leftover bricks or something? Any ideas would be great, we live at Karalee QLD Nic Nicinoo Building Grandview 36 River Retreat Karalee Re: Acreage Copper log fence with automatic gates 2Apr 27, 2010 9:13 pm We are also building on an acreage and also hope to eventually have electric gates. I live in WA so it may be different over here. Good luck with your choices.
