Re: MOLASSES Suppliers 35Dec 05, 2012 12:26 pm I got a quote through Bio-John here in Belmont, WA: 7kg = $10.50+GST 25kg = $26.50+GST Hope this helps! Re: MOLASSES Suppliers 36Jan 16, 2013 10:56 am i buy molasses at the stockfeed place on Thomas Road, just off the freeway. Fantastic guy, brilliant service. Thanks to Fu who introduced me to Molasses through the forum, I have reduced the amount of fertiliser and I have the best bloom and lawn ever. Initially we couldn't understand why everything is growing so well and the roses had the best bloom ever. In November, when the Bonica roses are in bloom, we were just standing there in disbelieve, looking at an 8m row of just flowers for a whole month. Thank you so much Fu Manchu. Re: MOLASSES Suppliers 37Feb 01, 2013 6:38 pm Heads up for Melbournians, just bought some from Vermont Fuel & Produce. $10.90 for 5kg tub. Next size up is 4gal buckets, didn't ask what the price was for them. Lady asked me what I was using it for, and when I said "garden", she looked at me real funny, and told me it doesn't work. =P Re: MOLASSES Suppliers 39Feb 06, 2013 11:58 pm Krilnik Hey Fu, this bloke thinks "feed grade" molasses is a no-no (right down the bottom of the page on the following link) http://www.thesoilguy.com/SG/Molasses I don't know what ingredients are in the molasses i purchased from the local grain store because i poured it into an empty Seasol 2 ltr container and threw the bucket out! My grass aint dead yet! Should we be taking a closer at the label perhaps??...or is this a load of rubbish?? It's fine. If it was going to kill your gardens, then I wouldn't be telling you The use of molasses gets up the nose of some elements of the nursery and garden industry. can't imagine why? Its cheap. It works. No need to feed a plant fertiliser... Re: MOLASSES Suppliers 40Feb 19, 2014 3:26 pm Just wanted to let anyone on the central coast NSW know that you can buy molasses at CRT (Coastal Rural Traders) at Ourimbah. They sell 2L bottles for $3.50 (I think) & larger buckets (pretty sure they are 15L) for $17. This seemed like a pretty good price to me Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8984 |
