Apparently nitrogen and phosphorous are present in this water source at approx 20 miligrams per litre and 7 mg/l respectively. There is also a salt concentration of approx 500 parts per million. I'm interested in: 1. What these levels mean in real terms 2. Implications for choosing plants 3. What kinds of plants or species would be suitable. 4. Implications for soil preparation. Whilst the garden is not therefore subjected to water restrictions, it obviously makes sense to still consider water use when planning the landscaping. Any advice or ideas? It's in Victoria.
