Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 19, 2010 11:04 am I have a side of my house which is about 1.5 meters wide. We have placed bamboo screens along some area so it looks nice out the windows. I plan to build a long length but small width (30cm) planter box in front of them to grow some plants in front of the screens. That side of the house is in shade from direct sun light but obviously gets in-direct light 1/2 a day. I am just wondering what sort fo plants would be suitable for the planter boxes? Sort of tall(ish) ones would be best? Any thoughts? You might need to look at climbers, and keep them clipped so they cover the fence, rather than just grow along the top. The lower area may still have room for some of Southies' (Southies's?? ) suggestions as well.
