Re: Show me your LETTER BOX! 5Mar 16, 2010 1:43 pm shreksm Very classy, I like that! I've been doing up designs in my head lately. I've come up with the usual brick "tower" letterbox, but on top of it I have designed a stainless steel cap that when fabricated correctly will look like the metal is dripping down the corners of the brickwork, once the render for the bricks is applied the surfaces will meet flush with each other. It's merely just an idea at this stage. Also after looking at how much they are charging for that stainless steel wave letterbox I know I can make them cheaper. Re: Show me your LETTER BOX! 6Mar 16, 2010 3:11 pm shreksm I like this but the house directly across the road has it. I originally wanted to make one out of our bricks but there were hardly any left over. Im thinking maybe making a brick rendered one or painted one. for the cost of those timber ones Im sure I could do it cheaper.
