Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 11, 2010 7:28 pm We were going to deck the rear or our property in time to sell (I have another thread going in here as well about a gravel area in our yard) The builder today told us that Wyndham council requires you to apply for a permit to build a deck and this costs $900 on top of the $3000 or so for the deck it makes it a very expensive option. We are thinking about paving now instead. Our bricks are a sandy colour and I am really after sites or suggestions or some inspiration. All our ideas have come crashing down atm any thoughts?? Re: Looks like we need a permit for decking so how about pav 2Mar 11, 2010 8:10 pm Pavng is fine. I'd say the permit for decking would be due to some pretty *** jobs being done of decking around the traps. I was disappointed at first, but our paving has come up a treat. There are some lovely pavers around, go check them out. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck?
