However you do get what you pay for and to save you an enormous amount of money in the years ahead, can i suggest (i'm going to do it anyway ) that you spend some extra coin on composted soil to be dug into what you have. If you can see if the landscaper will use straw and or green mulch instead of what is likely to be black mulch.
