Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Feb 17, 2010 11:34 am Hello All I have this lovely climber which I adore but for some reason it seems to be covered in ... black spot. I have tried a couple of different fungus killers, black spot sprays, oils but nothing seems to work. Has anyone come across this before, how do I get rid of it, its starting to kill my poor plants. Re: Help Needed - I think it might be black spot 3Feb 17, 2010 8:18 pm If you get a magnifying glass and have a look under the leaf, you will see very small little things walking around. They can only be treated with a miticide (dicofol) Now this stuff is cousins with some not cool chemicals. Not only that, most mites are now resistant to it. So yates do something called Insect and mite killer. It will not be anywhere as effective as natural predators http://www.goodbugs.org.au/Good%20bugs% ... milis.html http://www.goodbugs.org.au/Good%20bugs% ... ensis.html http://www.goodbugs.org.au/Good%20bugs% ... romus.html Just buy them on line and recieve them in the mail and then release onto the plant and watch problem fixed http://www.goodbugs.org.au/IPMnotes.htm ... calControl 6 4348 The warning is on the sticker on the door too.
