I am looking at pittos (James Stirling, Silver Sheen, Ivory Sheen, and especially Screenmaster) and murrayas ATM. Also the small pitto tree (pittosporum eugenioides variegatum), and even camellias.
Already bought one murraya , they are our favourite .

I second Lex's suggestion of Pittosporum. Our neighbours tend to be noisy on the weekends (particularly around 2 or 3 o'clock Saturday morning - but that's for a whole different thread) so I planted about 12 of the varigated leaf variety (Pittosporum Eugenioides Variegatum). 6 were planted last year and 6 were planted this year. They were about 15cm high when I planted them. One year later, they are not half as tall as I imagined they would be, but we have heavy clay ground.
But if you've got nice loose soil then I reckon the Pittosporum is for you. I have seen gardens that have Silver Sheen and James Stirling and they don't seem to grow out as wide or as dense as the Varigated variety.
