Hey everyone!
Now that I've settled into my new house, I've been dabbling in a big of Gardening and building up stock for my eventual backyard gardens. I am still very uneducated, however I have help at my side if I need it.
That aside - I was looking around for some nice indoor pots and planter pots today and was disappointed at the high price and lack of range offered in the area. Whilst in Bunnings I spotted a few cheap items that I thought I'd have a go at something different.

Experimental Vegie Garden!
Mixed the budget & premium potting mix up and a couple little scoops of slow-release fertiliser. Cut the bag open, transplanted a couple of tiny Lettuce and Tomato seedlings in (still a bit young but wanted the seedling tray). Gave them a drink - done!
Around $30-35 for the setup, with fertilser you can use elsewhere. Also, I fell short of potting mix (I already use half a bag elsewhere) and would have liked to fill it right up. Will remove the Tomatoes once they get a bit bigger.
Wouldn't recommend this setup as a long term thing - just thought I'd have a play around whilst my new Garden beds are in progress.
