But in case that fails you might need to plant another one now as a back up plan for the future! I'm thinking I migth go with capital pears for the side verge in square/diamond beds with little flowers around the bottom. They should match the manchurian pear out the front and look amazing once they grow up a bit! I feel a trip to the muchea tree farm coming on.
