Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jan 11, 2010 3:35 pm I went to Bunning’s this morning to get another one of these timber screens. All gone, so I have to wait. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ While I was there, I saw they are keeping tube size plants, so I snapped up 6 semi double pink camellias for my front side garden. $18 all up. Scoop! These are great and so coast effective. It doesn’t take them long to get going if you feed them up and keep the water up to them Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Tube size plants 2Jan 11, 2010 3:41 pm That is an impressive bargain Michelle But what is even more impressive is that you went outside today. I've been holed up inside all day with the aircon on, giving my dvd player the biggest thrashing it's ever had!! So far I've watched 'Young Victoria', 'Duplicity' and two discs of 'Entourage...' I have lots more and don't plan on going outside, ever, until the temp is under 30. Don't tell me you're outside planting those plants right now?? You'll put the rest of us to shame! Re: Tube size plants 3Jan 11, 2010 3:47 pm Felistopher…no not outside now, talking to you lot! I’ll do them tomorrow; it’s been hot here, but not as bad as Saturday! That nearly killed me. I think they may be pick up only, but if you can get there it would be worth it. P.S I just purchased 10 camellias and 10 gardenias online in tubes - cheap as, planted them a couple of weeks ago and I think I may only loose 1 which is not bad considering yesterday and the day before were scorchers! If they survive this summer they should be right. Toughen them up! It creates a great tall screening hedge but doesn't drop fruit like lily pilly. The flowers smell divine. 2 10239 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size.
