I was hoping to make my own mini river type thing, with a water mill / hydro electric in mind, now before anyone tsk tsks, I was planning to make running water anyway for a natural type swimming pool (you knwo the kind, rocks with water running down it etc etc) anyhoo, I thought why not create a watermill and use that to at least power the pump? A self-sufficient swimming pool If the mill created enough to Heat the pool or create electricity for other bits GREAT, but not a neccissity, just an added bonus if it did. I cannot, however, find any information other than actual plants? I know of a couple who have done this, but am no longer in touch with them to ask HOW they did it. The land I would build on would probably be flat, so would be creating my own hill, so to speak.
