Fu Manchu
That is something I have seen well known media personalities mention. One in particular. However, WA leads Australia in researching these things and educating the public on it.
It's just something I noted during some field trips when studying Ecology and Plants at uni, but I didn't go to uni in WA, and I don't have the practical experience with growing a garden of my own, so for me this will be somewhat of a "trial and error". Good to hear some other perspectives
Ecology and the demands we put on our gardens to perform are very different However ecology and landcare types can adapt the same principals and modify them to be high performance and suit or garden and urban landscapes Like taking a Hyundai in it's wonderful sensible economic reliability. Then putting a turbo charger on it, tuning it to run high octane fuel, lowering it and putting high performance brakes on it and you have the same thing as the natural environment and urban landscaping
