Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: Retaining wall help... 6Jan 25, 2010 12:02 pm JaHouse I am also new to this. We have a retaining wall just under one meter, and was told to do drainage with blue metal chips and egg liner. Drainage behind any retaining wall is a must if you want it to last years. You need slotted conduit, with the blue metal chips on top of the conduit, then put you 'fill' on top. I used scoria instead of blue chip. Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5179 Thanks for your reply! All valid points and I agree with you on many of them. I am in QLD, any recommendations on a construction lawyer would be helpful 3 2635 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16122 |
